What happens if I archive a widget?

Archiving a widget does not delete it permenantly.

When you archive a widget, it stops showing. This is useful if you wish to hide the widget for whatever reason. Could be that a long time has passed and it is no longer relevant, or you made a mistake (Keep in mind, for some widgets, you can make changes even after sending your email campaign!).

You can also unarchive widgets to restore them.

Archiving a widget does not 'delete' views.

Archived widget views still count towards your current billing cycle views and towards your total views for analytics purposes. However, when you archive a widget, there will be no more new views counted as it does not show any more.

Why should I archive widgets?

There is no real need to archive widgets apart from cleaning up your workspace or if you wish for a widget to stop showing.
