Widgets seem outdated in my email template preview?
If a timer or another email widget seems outdated or not matching the one you created in your dashboard, it is usually just the way Email Service Providers (ESPs) load dynamic elements. To check, we recommend:
1) Make sure that you saved all changes in the dashboard. It may be that some changes were made that are not yet saved.
2) Please delete the whole HTML/code block (not the code, but the whole block where the code is) and then add the block and repaste the code. The widget should be up to date in the preview now.
This step is optional, as the email would have updated anyway once the campaign is sent. The reason the preview can be outdated is because ESPs cache dynamic elements until the email is sent to make the preview experience better. They do this because almost every tiny change refreshes the email template in the background, and they do not want dynamic elements or images to flicker each time it refreshes.
